Unfortunately Alter Bridge has flied under my radar until recently. I saw them in July on the Breaking Ben & Disturbed tour. They did a good show but I was struck by Myles Kennedy's vocals which prompted me to research their catalog. I wish the band got more radio support. If you have Sirius/XM, Octane is playing he new song from the upcoming release, I think 9/30. The title track from Blackbird was voted greatest guitar solo, that alone sets expectations high, still good song though. The link is to a power ballad I really like from the first album.
