One of my audiophile followers writes, "Man Lummy, your (sic) on a role (sic) with this 1986 stuff. Keep it coming!"

Okay, let's role up our sleeves, and role with it.

Oh ho ho. During that Fall '86 semester, Berlin followed up the super-smash "Take My Breath Away" with a new album, Count Three & Pray. It featured the soaring, "Like Flames."

Maybe it was a talent show, or one of my high school's myriad festivals, but a senior girl was up on the walkway [in the photo above, by the bunting], between the courtyard and library, and she just nailed "Like Flames."

Back then, all the guys liked Berlin's lead singer, Terri Nunn. Hahaha, one of my female classmates questioned why Suzanne Vega couldn't be as attractive as the then 25-year-old Nunn. And my freshman friend, Teresa, even said that Nunn was so hot, she'd like to make out with her!

As audiophiles, we need to play more of these soaring anthems. 90% of audiophile products fail to keep up with "Like Flames." Thus, we gotta chuck these lousy products.
