Ah, Fall '85 semester...beginning of freshman year. If you didn't know anyone in a school of over 2,500, you can't be blamed for feeling isolated, lonely, helpless, and intimidated. Arguably, the friendliest kids were the modern rock fans, who hung out in the courtyard (above). It was here, where you'd hear interesting, hard-to-find songs, such as Book Of Love's underground favorite, "I Touch Roses." Audiophiles love this song. But since it was not well-known, and is still not played often, audiophiles have difficulty describing and finding it. So when you give or reveal it to your audiophile friends, they profusely thank you. -Lummy The Loch Monster |
