Only Prince can funk up a Stones classic and make it his own. I saw some Jimi channeling going on as well.Maybe just me, still Brilliant!

There is probably an endless supply of "basement tapes" at PP that will be released. Maybe some other cool covers by his personal heroes. How about "Castles Made of Sand"?
He can also throw down some blues, so maybe a Howlin Wolf "Killling Floor"?

I read he went on RSD in his neighborhood and picked up an eclectic batch of CD's.
Joni Mitchell "Hejira," Chambers Brothers "Time has Come" Stevie Wonder "Talking Book"

I wonder how interested he was in sonics-he probably just had a "good" system, nothing over the top. Musicians seem to be more into the actual music than the fancy boxes and expensive cables we use.

that once his estate gets somewhat in order and someone is put in charge of his canon of unreleased and live recordings there will be enough material to eclipse the Bob Dylan, Mile Davis and Grateful Dead reissue/bootleg series that have been plump and deep in riches. There will easily be new Prince material released the rest of MY life.

Bet he actually had a killer system, would be great to find out. He was a tone and sound maniac.

That Madcat guitar of his was his favorite for a reason.

Bet that alone is one of the most valuable guitars in the world, but won't be sold.

Can you imagine? This will be in probate for awhile. Wasn't the estate guesstimated close to
HALF A BILLION?

was a complicated guy, a musician, a polymath, intrepid, busy...

There's probably a will sitting somewhere no one has yet looked.

The media needs to make their circus out of his death and they will.

Half a billion? It's priceless!
