 He and the Hot Licks" were the first ones I can remember hearing perform "Smoke That Cigarette". R.I.P.

 I enjoyed their retro stuff and saw them in their heyday. Dan turned into a raging alcoholic and destroyed their run from what I remember. I think he got sober several decades back and rekindled his career. RIP
