I'm wondering where such a talented artist lands. Americana, American Songbook, Roots, Folk? She obviously can do it all - she needs some direction - or maybe she is just going the TBone route until it finds her. She may be the best pure singer to come of age in a while. How does she break out and avoid becoming a niche performer? I saw her with the CCD's and it was stunning - but what's next? Any parallels out there you can think of. How about an album with Robert P ? :-)

She is so pure.

is Norah Jones. Rhiannon has that same magic gift that few before her had, she travels the road and in the footsteps of the likes of Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holiday and a few others. A rare thing , these type of women, who come along and sing and it all changes.
Rhiannon has not even put on her running shoes yet....but when she does, look out.
T-Bone said he was never there at the start of something huge, he always got there after the artist was established. he said:
"Though I've witnessed these big moments in peoples lives that are turning points for them, I've never had the opportunity to have a hand in what comes next"....so he said to himself......"I'm going to have a hand in this one"
And he did and her 1st album shows just how perceptive he was and how much gold there will be to mine.

Mahalia Jackson - yes! Anyway, Hope you are right about her breaking out. Norah's breakout was beyond all expectations. What could Rhiannon put on the pop charts like Norah? Still a little work to be done.
