116,000 dollars for a ticket? I am not sure who would really pay that or if the article is real. Seems to be.

Sure it is real and yes, there are many, many wealthy people in 2015 that can easily afford that kind of scratch. For the non-wealthy, many of those guys will cash in 401K and stock options to attend.

Remember, there are only so many seats at the slated venue. It is a matter of supply vs demand.

Sure, someone has listed the tix for $116,000, but in actuality the most expensive ones have sold for $7,400. And keep in mid that the venue is huge (71,000), only those near the front are gonna have decent seats and sound.

For $116k you could probably get The Dead to come to your house and put on a show. 'Specially if you get LWR to broker it for ya...[g]
