Listening to The Waitresses 'Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?' I always liked this band. I honestly feel they were extremely underrated.

There was another album - IIRC that I quite enjoyed when it first came out - it should still be on my shelf.... Bruisology
Happy listening

I had that on LP before I gave my record collection away. I loved that album especially the title track. It was a shame about Patty Donahue :( I remember when I was about 13 I found out she passed away and was sad. I always wished that folks would have gone further than 'I Know What Boys Like' (although an excellent song, one of my favorites ;) it always disappointed me that no one seemed to go further into their albums. Chris Butler was a hell of a songwriter and at the time when I was listening to similar artists such Romeo Void, Missing Persons (love Terry Bozio's drumming), Motels, just basically anything that had a similar sound.
