What I bought at the music store today

After jumping on the MP3 bandwagon I really regretted letting my CD's go. I am slowly rebuilding my collection and these are just a few I had to have back now that I have a nice CD player again. I also let my vinyl collection go a few years ago. It's not that any of this is worth any value of money but rather I miss listening to these albums on my stereo.

:) Thanks for the welcome back. The Neko Case album was fun listening to in the car when it was dusk. Don't have a good turntable right now that can do the vinyl any justice. Gotta save up for one of those. The LP's are re-issues.

Cds for me. Latest vinyl acquisitions above (thanks to those who recently recommended a couple of them).

Short buy list - Aerosmith Live Bootleg, Allah Las, St. Paul & the Broken Arrows, 3 Mile Pilot - Chief Assassin to the Sinister.

Those look awesome!! I love the covers. Joe Strummer is the only one I know. The others I don't. Will have to check those other ones out.

If my memory serves correct, you have at least 2 great Audio shops in the Pittsburgh area.

The closest audio shop to me is Butchs Sound and Vision in Natrona Heights. Butch is a great guy and really knows his stuff. I was at The Exchange out in McKnight for music purchases today. I love going there because the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and love talking about music. Was gonna go to Half Price Books and Music but I figured I'd spent enough at that point. So far Aimee Mann's 'Lost In Space' on cd was awesome! I have it in iTunes but its just not the same. Same with Bjork's 'Post' sounds wayyyy better on cd than mp3.

Nice pick-up! I recognise most of those - it reminds me that I also have been meaning to purchase some albums that I move on a couple of decades ago.

Cheers,

Thanks RC Daniel. I hear that now is a time to buy CDs for cheap I guess.

If you haven't been to Northern Audio, he does a nice job too. Haven't been to Butch's for a long time, will have to plan a road trip.

Thanks for the info on the Exchange, think I'll head to Robinson store at lunch!
