that Dr and Musicologist Tin knows so much what is good for me.
I just shot my 10,750 album Hard Drives and burned my 9500LPs.
The ounce of pot I have had in the freezer since last Oct is still there minus the little I smoked when I broke my ankle. I have a license but no real need other than pain.
And yep, I like the Dead, they are friends. Favorite band? Naw, the other 20K or so are my favorites.
But Tin, who never starts a coherent thread to discuss his music and his love of groups, has a zillion reasons why mine are wrong. What a great wisdom, who knew?
Thanks for all the fish.

never mind me, I spent the past hour listening to a preacher from Montana. Spent yesterday listening to music which some here says sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

When you say the Dead, you mean the Grateful Dead (the band) I hope?

:)

I love archive.org by the way, what a great invention. I read it was a member of that band that started it. I am Grateful for him :)

--edit-- maybe not, but be grateful anyway. Smoke some grass, I'm having a cup of coffee. I've been sleeping for the past 3 days, been in an out of consciousness because I'm troubled by the "news".

...pretty normal. The Stereotypical Audiophiles do not listen to popular music. But that's why I not only share my music, I provide my relationship and resulting reaction to it. I cover the music's history and try to give background context.

If I'm the only one lisening to this stuff, so be it. I wouldn't want the rest of the audiophiles also listening to it. Then the music wouldn't feel as special and personal.

As long as you are enjoying your music, that's all that matters.

You're on eternal Easy Street and cruising down the road in your Deadhead rocking chair. Plus, that woman of yours and an O of MM. We should all be so damned....

"Immigrant Song."
And you could just admit you were wrong about LZ, too, and the amount of acoustic music on their debut. 3 songs out of 9.

a different genre and type of music than DRM and BoJ but you are too musically ignorant to even have a clue.

Title of one of his numerous (three, if memory serves) autobiographies:

"What Do You Care What Other People Think?"

or, as Pete Townshend wrote, "Why should I care?"

I am guessing that Feynman could've estimated the half-life of this thread a la Fermi at Trinity, though...

You: "a bombastic R&R band." Myself and others pointed out the high acoustic content of their music, posted on September 3, 2014 at 08:01:50

and I specified that on the first album. You disagreed and I pointed out 3 out of 9 songs completely are acoustic. You said only lead-ins were to those songs. Obviously wrong.
Keep digging and lying.

LWR, I just want you to know how much I enjoy what you add here. Over the years you have answered a few of my odd questions and I apreciate that as well
