Send by a fellow inmate....very good sound by Betty Candor, the best knob spinner the Dead ever had...

"Candor"? Is that a Freudian slip? ;-) (nt), posted on August 12, 2014 at 03:01:19

When I logged onto the Archive, looking forward to snagging some more of the un-compressed Dead shows only to find out that Bobby had forced them to take ALL of them down. Greedy schmuck!

Fortunately, I had been a very busy boy beforehand and had gotten quite a few of those gems in all their SHN glory. It is to be hoped that one day they will re-surface so that a new generation can enjoy a special point in time...

all 30 or 31 releases of the Download Series. All digital downloads released by the Dead and then pulled...The sound on each of them is very good indeed.

Agreed,

The Dead were very fortunate to have excellent 'sound' people w/ them in the studio + live in concert.
