Cortez the Killer

Hadn't seen/heard that and I'm a big fan of Los Cenzontles and Hidalgo.

Doesn't seem to be on disc, which is a bummer.

Have seen Los Cenzontles a couple times (once with Hidalgo as a guest,
once when they opened for Ry Cooder) and they are wonderful performers.

Their Cultural Center is a wonder and wonderful.

Hidalgo has one of the top voices in rock and his band is tighter than a gnat's ass. Here are my two favorite tunes sung by Dave. I hope you enjoy them. And of course a knock out version of the Dead's Bertha, best song about a floor fan ever.
