The entire crowd had been dosed with Owsley's finest...he later told me that what they say about rabbits is true...

hopefully the whole band got to play at some point.

Would like to see what was going on a couple hours later, crowdwise.

Sometimes, you feel like a "T-man." Sometimes, you don't.

Almond Joy's got nuts. Mounds don't.

Or something like that.

I know it's hard to see with all those Blondes in the way. 8^)

Are they real equipment (the electronics, not the Blondes) or just props?

Remercie beaucoup!

Talk about a wonderful world of freebies!

is well documented. There's a nice synopsis in the liner notes of the expended/remastered (Rhino) version of the "aoxomoxoa" (remixed version, not the original mix).

Ahem -- and (de gustibus and all that) -- "Mountains of the Moon" is a favorite track of mine from "aoxomoxoa" (which is probably my all around favorite Dead studio album -- "What's Become of the Baby?" notwithstanding).

all the best,

looks sort of like the interior of the "Seaview" on "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"

:-)

I'm not much of a Dead fan, so apologies to fans of that tune.

Some day I may read the lyrics without the accompanying... distraction.

The Dead had MUCH better to offer IMO, as did Mr. Jerry apart from them as well.

Almost anyone doing a renaissance styled tune with either harpsichord or worse, FAKE harpsichord is inclined to trigger my gag reflex.

Funny, I was thinking some props from a sci-fi-ish TV show.

THAT would have been the perfect choice!

Incredible stacks of Macs driving your Wall Of Sound. Beautiful hippie chicks at your beck and call. Getting to play with some of the other greatest bands on earth. Never wanting for money because your music is SO popular.

Yeah, I'd call that a luxurious life...
