I am basically a newcomer to computer-based audio, and want to be able to access flac files on a desktop computer (running Ubuntu Linux) via my wireless network to a device that can output these to a surround processor in another room (which has no USB, ethernet, nor wireless inputs). I can do this using a laptop with HDMI out, but it makes for a clunky solution. Any suggestions are warmly welcomed! |

Chromecast Audio (optical out) with PLEX on your PC. $35.00 plus a cable. |
