Bye-bye jplay and lenovo, great job playing music for 5 years ... hello microrendu and roon! I am very happy with the new sound ... when it works ... But it seems that microrendu and my m2tech young dac have an unstable relationship. Sometimes to start music play I have to switch the dac on and off a couple of times, while roon interface shows the mucis going ahead... Or I have to go through various inputs ... Othertimes microrendu and young simply link incorrectly with left/right channels swapped. Any ideas what the problem might be and how to fix it? maxim |

The microrendu runs a Linux afaik. You need to check if your M2TECH DAC might needs a proprietary driver. If so: For older M2TECH Hiface devices there is a specific kernel driver/module called "snd-usb-hiface" . The generic USB module is called "snd-usb-audio" though. The MicroRendu would have to let you switch drivers if it won't do it automatically. Good luck. ----------------------------------------------------------------- blog latest >> The Audio Streaming Series - tuning kit pCP |
