I've already got a great Teac DAC - do they make a streamer without a DAC?........, posted on November 16, 2015 at 18:27:53

Could be, and with the addition of being a streamer and having a headphone amp built in?

I may be getting a PS Audio DirectSteam DAC for a one week demo (or not).
I'd really like to know how it compares to my PCM1704 DAC.

Problem is, it remains very unlikely that I'd end up buying it so it seems a bit unfair to take the product of a week knowing that.

Even though I told them, they really don't seem to mind.

I wonder if this means the U.S. model will NOT be able to stream Spotify and Deezer.......That would be a NoGo for me.

Tidal would be nice, and there is no telling of the bit depth of Deezer(Deezer Elite?).

Looks like my next streamer will be a Mac Mini. =:-0

Bit Depth of Deezer goes by account. So, if you've got a Deezer Elite account, then you are streaming FLAC.... I still stream Deezer Elite with my Squeezebox Touch via Ickstream, even though my Sonos is long Gone.

I am no longer interested in Tidal.
