Is anyone else having problems with Tidal today? I can't even log in.

Just the usual evening dropouts. When I couldn't sign in - restarting the ARIES worked.

both from the OS-X app and SONOS.

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass

It started working for me finally after being down for a couple of hours. All other functions worked fine except Tidal. Oh well, back to listening

Honestly, I haven't had a single dropout since jumping on the Tidal bandwagon over the holidays. There have been a few times where I've experienced a brief 1-3 second pause when searching or starting playback, but otherwise it's been as responsive as my local NAS. I'm very impressed by the quality of service so far. Just not the search engine.

I think your location and internet service provider have a lot to do with it. I'm on Comcast in New England. I stream Tidal via Linn DS over Ethernet.

Called my friend in Florida and he said late afternoon Tidal was down for about an hour

I had dropouts on Tidal last night, for the first time.
Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come as they get more subscribers.

I'm getting lots of them. Very disappointed. Maybe it would be better if I had the native Windows app, but that isn't available now because they say it has problems.

Oh well, there's always Qobuz . . . and Deezer Elite will presumably be available without Sonos at some point.

Well, six days into my Tidal trial and I've discovered that I don't get pops if I stream 44.1 to my phone. It sounds great. But the Chrome app just doesn't work for me without dropouts and I have no idea when they're going to get the native Windows app fixed, so I'm going to cancel because even compressed sound is better than dropouts.

I am not having drop-outs, but sometimes it just stops. As far as I can tell it is a problem with Tidal, not with my gear.

Peering problem?

I've always gotten pops when I used a browser client -- MOG, Spotify, and Tidal. So I tend to think it's a Windows problem. With MOG and Spotify, I get fewer pops with the native Windows app, but couldn't try Tidal's app since it's been withdrawn until they fix it.
