I installed Yosemite on 2 computers yesterday and the installation was flawless. Pure Music 2.02, Audirvana Plus 2.02, and JRiver 19 and 20 seem to work with Yosemite.

I hope to listen after work today.

Who on earth would be interested in THAT news and what on earth does that have to do with Computer Audio?

Asking for a friend. ;-)

I will save you the trouble, use this check list :)

Compared to Mavericks, the soundstage was:

A) Wider
B) Widest I have ever heard

Bass was:

A) Tighter
B) The tightest I have heard

The overall presentation was:

A) Lighter
B) Darker
C) A Darker Shade of Gray

A recent review come to min. John Atkinson in his review of the NAD music server, read on the internet (of course!) that the PREVIOUS generation of firmware sounded "better" than the current, newly installed firmware. He agreed.

Well, he he MASSIVE egg on his face when the designer commented that the ONLY change was was 1DB reduction in gain, NO other changes were made.

what on earth does that have to do with Computer Audio?

At least on first appearance, not a huge amount I'll agree (unless of course one is one of the many Mac users in the Asylum) but, even so, rather more than your snide remarks and considerably more than those damn-fool, over-sized "animated gifs" of cats and the like that you and others stick under our noses in the manner of children that feel they're not getting enough attention.

Does that help? At all?

Well that surely helped me!

I couldn't believe that I was the only one who hated those wretched, valueless, annoying, damn things.

Last time I renewed I mentioned dumping the animated GIFs in the "how to improve the site" field but alas to no avail. It wasn't a problem when I was using windows as I could block them but I can't on the iPad, or at least I don't know how.

Not much to do up in Scotland?

Probably about as quiet as the Bay Area . . .

Mad because of the independence vote?

My favourite headline on that one was over an opinion piece that read:

"The people have spoken. The Bastards"

My vote was private; I plan to keep it that way.

'Sprezza Tura' seems to have taken up the cause and has the situation well in hand.
