I have a new Teradak Chamelion dac. Want to use it with windows 8 with JRiver 18. Do I need drivers to do this?

It doesn't say windows 8 but I got a reply from the developer in Taiwan that they do not have windows 8 but they don't think a driver should be necessary. I will try again

I only have about 20 hours on it and other owners say 200 hours to really burn in. At 20 hours the Teredak sounds on the thin side. There is good solid deep base but I thing mid bass is down. Have to wait and see.
