 Sept 9th is the Apple confab which shall see the release of Yosemite OS and a wrist watch maybe and hope against hope, the new Mini. Rumor abounds as they always do around these events...

 Faster, better integrated graphics and no spinning platters of rust? Poor mans MAC Pro?

Aside from evidence showing that Apple will likely launch a couple new iPhone 6 models and an iWatch, I'm not sure if a new Mac Mini is in the works. It would be nice but I'm completely happy with the one I have as a music server. They might even drop the Mini at some point and steer people to the iMacs.

I'm more inclined to replace my aging MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. I may go with the Air if they get Retina displays like the current Pros, and are able to retain 12-hour+ battery life.

 Cold hard facts are that Apple makes more money putting the newer chip sets into iMacs and MacBooks than the Mini.
