Would like to seek confirmation from members if the 6LX6 tube is a drop in replacement for the 6LF6 tube. From the information available in the net it appears to be so. Intend to use it in my NYAL OTL3 amps.
Thanks and Rgds,
Nara

All I can tell you is that your post stimulated me to do an internet search, and the search seems to confirm that 6LF6/6LX6/6MH6 are one and the same. I had never heard of the 6LX6 designation prior to now.

I found this on a site called "world tube company" that seems to confirm the match.
Beam Power Pentode 6LF6's, 6MH6's, and 6LX6's are all the exact same tube.
The 6LF6 / 6MH6 / 6LX6 Vacuum Tube is a duodecar type used in Linear Amplifiers and as a horizontal-deflection amplifier in color tv receivers. It requires a duodecar 12-contact socket.
