It cannot possibly refer to output power from one 6C33C. Nor can it refer to input power, really. The amps must have solid state input and driver stages. If they are biasing the tube at 600mA, as stated, I would not be sanguine about the longevity of tube life. That's about 2X what would be a conservative bias current that lets the tubes live a normal lifespan.

I don't know how they can get 5w into 8 ohms from a single 6C33 , probably they rated power into a 16 ohm load . I did an amp which paralleled up 3 x 6C41 with a choke load , ran hot at a combined 630mA and got just over 2 watts per channel . A 6C33 will put out even less...
