hi. I was wondering if someone might be able to advise how to determine if an Atma S-30 or M-60 amp contains the (a) V-Cap copper foil Teflon coupling capacitors; (b) Power Supply Boost; & (c) Caddock resistor package upgrades.

thanks in advance!

If you call Atma-Sphere and tell them the serial number of the amp, they can tell you which upgrades it has.

If the upgrade was done by the factory, Atma-Sphere should know. But some folks DIY. So open up the bottom and have a look for yourself.

It's easy enough to see the V-caps, if they are present. They have strong brand labeling, and you can see whether you have copper ones (CuTF) or the TFTF ones as well. Check the VHAudio.com site to see what the different types look like.

Same deal with Caddocks. They're less distinctive than naked Vishay's but they definitely look different than the stock resistors so they are easy enough to identify.

OR: You can take a photo and post it here and folks can tell you what you've got.

HTH!
