These recordings are magisterial ......soulful.... well thought out...and beautifully recorded. Lettberg did her doctoral thesis on the composer and has been performing his music for years.

 In my LP days of yore, I had Ponti's complete Scriabin recordings on Vox, and, while Ponti was pretty good with this music, Lettberg is so much more finished, while still avoiding excessive refinement. Her set is an amazing accomplishment! (BTW, I thank Ivan303 for the loan of Lettberg's set, which I had previously heard on Spotify.)

Of course there are individual performances of individual Scriabin works that may equal (or even slightly exceed) Lettberg's. However, these performances seem to be few and far between.
