I never understood how these musicians just "did their thing" and accept the outcome.

Looks like B.B. Kings estate is gonna be sucked dry by both the attorneys and the vampires who aren't even his kids?

Choosing not to dispute any of the paternity claims from FIFTEEN women seems nuts to me. That pretty much guaranteed what's going on with the estate.

Can't blame the lawyers for this one. A classic case of leaving a mess for others to fight over when you're gone. In my practice, I've seen musicians and artists do this more than once. The situation with royalties and artistic property can be complicated, and some of these guys have a complicated family picture, and they just don't want to deal with it. Here, the trustee may have been his "significant other" when he died, and the children don't like or trust her. A totally avoidable situation.
