Jealous! Wish I could attend!

One thing that always bothers me though, many (most? all?) of these so called "jazz" festivals always have obviously non-jazz performers. Too bad they can't seem to make a go at presenting only jazz artists. Pity.

This is my first year in Rochester and I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing as much of this as possible. Amazingly, many sets are free and a $20 Club Pass gets you into a bunch of others. They tell me the festival brings in 200,000 visitors.

You should make a point of checking out the Soul Rebels. If you have never heard New Orleans contemporary brass band they are one of the best and get ready to dance.
