OK folks, there is nothing better than stumbling onto a performance you never heard before. How I ever missed Judy Garland live at Carnegie Hall is one of my life's mysteries, but I am stunned. One of the greatest live performances I have ever heard. If any of you by any slim chance haven't heard this, do so.

If you want to hear a truly magnificent live performance, listen to
Harry Belafonte's carneige hall concert(s).

Lack of skill dictates economy of style. - Joey Ramone

Thanks for the suggestion. I always suspected there was more to Harry than the DAY-O I hear at every sporting event.

My parents were there, sitting right up front. They talked about it and revered Garland the rest of their lives. A remarkable performer on a remarkable night, no doubt.
