An interesting juxtaposition. But, it may be that the original photos were lost or damaged, so they used some alternate.

Either way, those old Mercury covers are a minor art form, as were many other record covers of that era.

. . . was that the flipped photo on the CD cover (in contrast to the LP cover!) now shows a position of the harpsichord that, as far as I know, would never occur in real life - look where the lid is relative to the "treble" keys and the "bass" keys!
