maybe it never went away but I am seeing new episodes dated 2014. I saw one act that thoroughly disgusted me. Ryan Adams. I thought Jules said Bryan Adams actually but no. I hadn't heard of him and did some research and it seems he has been around a while and played with some notable people and produced for some quite notables. I guess that gets him this spot on the show. It's always been about who you know not what you can actually do in music and Hollywood. He had the cliched scruffy rocker look with hair covering his face except for one eye so he could see I guess. The music was quite simple. The kind anyone playing for a year could easily do. Most of the four players had nice tone. But the worst was the vocals, well the lyrics actually. Horribly cliched rock vomit we've all heard before. So I thought it was sad this guy gets to be on this show but then seeing his bio he is "connected" so I see why he gets a chance. It can't be from his talent. Right?
