It only had a limited list of classical stations to begin with, "Met Opera Radio", "Pops", "Symphony Hall".

Turned it on yesterday and "Pops" is gone. Dance club shiite "Utopia" is in it's place.

They now have five dance/electronic stations and two classical stations.

And no, I can't just cancel, because when I drive in the netherlands I need something other than country and talk radio to listen to.

I'll bitch to them, but I have no delusions about it having any effect.

I will never deal with Sirius again. I had them in several cars, and eventually quit renewing the service in all of them. The last time, I was surprised to get a call from a collection agency. When I called to find out what was going on, it turned out to be Sirius. Apparently, they now 'give' you a couple more months of service after you fail to renew, and charge you for them. I guess its in the fine print.

Real pissed.

I emailed twice to general delivery and got back the same boilerplate response (as in none of any consequence). Then emailed Symphony Hall Monday and have not received a reply yet.

Yeah, I'm told Pops is on their internet list but I don't listen that way. Besides, it sounds even worse.

So at supper time I can either play the Mahler 8th or Elektra for dinner music.

These days, it seems like the bottom line ALWAYS rules.

I emailed them too. Maybe if enough listeners complain they might listen.

Jim-

certainly contact XM/Sirius for more of an explanation on this matter.
I have been a fan and user since 2005. To me, these guys are very approachable.

Why I have never subscribed to Sirius/FX in the first place - just not enough to offer me.

Poor selection, poor sound quality. I cancelled everything except the traffic service.

The only shows I like are Bob Dylan's and Tom Petty's.
