So I've had my 20.7's connected to the Sound Anchor stands for a few days and here are some my observations. Like the Mye stands once you get your Maggie's off the floor bass and overall tonality gets snappier and instruments have a little more weight. Imaging is improved on both and voices start to sound even more natural. So all the things we love about Magnepan's we simply get more of. I would say more pronounced clarity.

The Mye stand's definitely win in the area of construction, finish and stability. Plus Grant does a fantastic job on instructions and assembly. SA leaves a lot to be desired in those areas. I'm glad I have a dedicated listening room or I would be pretty nervous about someone possibly topping them over. I started using a measuring tool to see if I can detect in vibration during listening. Thus far minimal to none exist.

One area I think the Sound Anchors get a gold star is the tilt factor. To me it's a game changer for them, however I think more development as it pertains to modernization and ease of use could and should be done. The turnbuckle technology just seems outdated to me. I'm listening to the Great Jimmy Smith album 'Who's Afraid of the Virginia Woolf' and it seems like sound stage has improved in width. Again I think this may be due to the added clarity.

Anyway after having both I think our guy Grant remains the champ but the Sound Anchors really do somethings right and aren't bad at all.
