the guys singing are the "Blind boys of Alabama "

saw them in concert years ago

the gentleman singing with the higher voice was on stage which was about 6 foot off the ground - I was standing directly below him.

he decides that he is going to put his life in the hands of God - runs towards the edge of the stage and jumps off yelling " God will save me "

Thank the God that me and two other guys catch him

We set him down and he continues to sing _ the crowd goes nuts

now comes the interesting part _ a security guard _ a Black man perhaps seven feet tall and three hundred pounds grabs the singer by the belt line and places him back on stage single handedly

go figure

Davey	Nice story but...... No, it's the Fairfield Four with the late Dickie Freeman singing the bass part in that YT video. Try "Standing in the Safety Zone" if you'd like to experience some of the better recordings of this group. Dave.
