I've done a little bit of reading on this, but I have no experience.

I'm not a technical savvy guy. I just own a pair of ears.

Looking for members impressions that know more about this than I do.

In my opinion binaural is not even good on head phones, let alone on speaker playback!

on Maggies nothing special - on headphones jaw dropping !, posted on April 21, 2022 at 19:23:52

I just did an experiment playing true binaural recording on my LRS speakers. They were unimpressive and did not give the true enveloping sensation which binaural recordings are famous for. I then tried them on my studio monitor headphones and the sound was astounding !

The sound field on my STAX ear speakers went over my head, instead of, 'In front" from left to right.

Very unrealistic IMO.
