Hey all. What recordings do u have where the soundstage just goes from wall to wall? I recently rearranged my room and the Q sound recording of amused to death - Roger waters - just went thru the roof. It was good before but is more wow now.

What other recordings expand your room?

Madonna has one with Qsound as well. An internet search for Qsound recordings should bring up a bunch...

percussion instruments are far 'front' left/right almost parallel to your feet.

I hear it on Pandora often around Sunset, a really great song (for me anyway) to cap off the day.

Add Joe Cocker's "Night Calls" to the list of Q-sound recordings.

I played this a couple times ago with my daughters. They didn't complain, but then usually don't. They're 11 and 8, mostly just want to be in there with me for something different...

Especially the track "Would You". It almost makes Amused sound mono.

I Ching's "Of the Moon and the Marsh" is also pretty sweet.

Andreas Vollenweider's "Caverna Magica".

"Man, that mouse is Awesome." - Kaemon (referring to Jerry, of Tom and Jerry fame)

Listened to Pulse .. very nice actually. It does sound like you are in an arena and I'm not sure I've heard drums in a concert hall sound so 'you are there'

Amused to Death is a sound effects recording.....not music! NT, posted on April 10, 2022 at 13:49:58

"Time Out Of Mind"-Steely Dan

"Before the Deluge"-Jackson Browne

"Delta"-CSN

I disagree. IMO, the effects serve the overall musical statement, not dominate it. nt. , posted on April 10, 2022 at 20:59:53

It is a great track to test sub smoothness and integration if using one, too.

The end of the tune. You'll know what I'm talking about.
