Very impressive and have all the boxes checked in my book. don't know how good the tweeter is but at least its a tall ribbon. The planar midbass is a great idea with terrific sensitivity. The separate woofer towers are the perfect approach, leaving only the massive overkill of so many subwoofer drivers. a pair per side should do for most rooms and a double stack for the rest 6 per side is more auditorium than home speaker.

Any idea what the price tag is?

How many bass units come with the basic $9k 3 model? any? are they sold separately as indicated at $6k per pair of bass units?
