Dipole "carbon" bending wave driver (similar to the round monopole Manger driver) covering 170hz to 30khz which is remarkable for one driver.

Bass is provided by bipolar woofer boxes with multiple small passive radiators. The flagship uses two bass boxes with apparently 6 7" units 2 active drivers each and 4 passive radiators. The boxes are CLD sandwich structures. weight is 1/4 ton each..

The basic driver is based on the Podium panel speakers and uses two motors to create the bending wave.

Anybody know anything about this driver and tech?

Way cool at $225K and 180 Kg (I think that is per side) and a minimum impedance of 1.5 ohm. I'll be sticking with my 3.7i for awhile and lie awake at night thinking about what might be.

Nobody says it is a value product....

Or practical...

But considering the big simple Podiums there seems to have been a serious refinement effort put into this.

The website lists reviews from 2012.

I'll take Ray Kimber's choice of double 922s each powered an S-400 for a bit less coin. :)

I did not know about them, so I am asking. So "new to my consciousness" is more appropriate.

Obviously I would be with you in preferring a bigger stat rather than this.

Just curious since the Podium guy came up with a new idea and moved it from a maggie sized panel into a tiny square. No implication of even remote value in the product.
