Has anyone ever tried to run Maggies and conventional cone speakers (full range, not just subwoofers) in parallel?

I've always wondered what the results would be? Anyone have any insights?

It is bound to be a disaster, It is only workable on a frequency divided basis or content and space divided basis like HT.

You can run a hybrid with low XO slopes like an ET LFT8 or ML hybrid.

I was setting up JBL LSR305's to compare with MMG's mounted just inboard my MMG's and adjusting them to run an the same level. First with pink noise - but then with music... Really not an ideal playback configuration and the tone and the imaging was not ideal when played together... as expected.
