UCI World Championships have rolled into town this week. After following the Tour de France since the early 80's, I am like a kid in a candy shop seeing riders from all the big teams (BMC, Sky, Moviestar, Ettix, etc). Most of the races are passing one block from my house. I spent most of the day watching practice for the team and individual time trials today. The actual racing starts tomorrow.

Yeah, the Tour of California went right by our house the last couple of years. It's getting to be a real event with some of the big teams.

I would have loved to see Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi in the 1949 Tour De France.

The 1969 Tour would have been another, maybe better, where Eddy "the Cannibal" Merckx devoured the peleton.

I love audio; but like you, cycling's my real passion.
