 What would you pay for a pair of Acoustat Model 3, non-Medallion transformer, that appear to be in very good condition? If you didn't like them you would have two weeks to return them.

To be clear, I do not own these speakers, so this is not a stealth ad.

 Thanks, that's about what I figured. Do you think not having the boxes knocks the price down at all?

 Boxes for them would likely have turned back into sawdust by now anyway, so no. I would not consider boxes to be all that valuable. On one hand they are nice to have when you need to ship them, but where they hell do you store them?

 I flatten them and store them in my attic. I have boxes from the 1990s that are in good shape. But, I do take your point.

The pawn shop near me is asking $895 for pre-Medallion Acoustat Model 3s. I used to own pre-Medallion 1+1s, the model that came with the passive subwoofer, and would like to hear these. I think I will offer $600 and see what they say. I know the owners are trustworthy as my brother does a lot of camera lens buying and selling with them.
