JRiver Media Center continues to amaze. In DSP Studio, I enabled the Parametric Equalizer with these settings: +1 dB at 45 Hz +2 dB at 40 Hz +6 dB at 30 Hz Boosting the bass at these settings - although still a work in progress - seems to compensate for the natural rolloff of these speakers enough to not feel the need to add an external woofer. Your settings will probably be different, but this might be a good place to start. My room is small-medium size and the volume is never loud enough to exceed the capabilities of these fine speakers. Good idea. I'll start with a 10 dB cut at 20 Hz and see (hear) how that works. Thanks |

How far are you setting the speakers from the FW? |

Only about 2.5 ft. They sound awesome! |
