I believe these came as a direct result of not being able to buy the rights from Harold Beveridge? Anyone ever get to hear these?

Almost bought a pair of those locally. But, couldn't sync up with seller before someone else grabbed them.

I do remember researching them while the deal was in the works. IIRC they got favorable reviews for near-field listening (as in desktop monitoring). Also, got the impression they were a little problematic in the internal amp for the stat section. Might have been an undersized transformer or something. Didn't look too service friendly from the pictures I saw, but if you were creatively "McGuyver-ish" they could be made to be dependable. All a distant memory now and never did actually hear them.

Sure wish I had gotten ahold of them.

I may be mixing up the models, think I was looking at the SA-S900 which I think was smaller.
