May you all have a warm, blessed and happy time! (Plus bonus time to do as much listening as you may wish for :-))

(Back to my hibernation; South Florida "cooler" months are my listening holiday of sorts. Many folks turn off A/Cs; acoustic & line noise goes down.)

JBen...Love fest???

I appreciate your insights and Humor...mostly humor...

And to ALL of the inmates that have been so helpful through the years...I have learned allot...I won't mention any names, but you know who you are...Also for putting up with my ramblings and Dyslexia, (yeah, skip words/letters and spew bad grammar...even after several proof reads...)

As far as the Florida thing and lack of AC running...here in MN, the Article Circle dips down and covers us, it was -4F yesterday morning...in my small condo, the air intake is in my dining/living room...so I have a jet engine furnace sucking air 80% of the time...So I bundle up, in my snowmobile suit, turn down the heat and listen...until I see my breath...ok that's a joke...

I will share one of my LARGE Italian families traditions...for the last 20 years, we have had a "thankful" box...we all write some things we are thankful for before the meal, put it in the box...after the meal we pass the box around...pull-out piece of paper...read it...and try to guess who wrote it...lots of laughs and occasionally a few tears, we are emotional bunch...

So...to all my fellow inmates...
I hope all is well in your world and everyone you love and everybody that loves you is happy and healthy...

Thanks
Mark

So, here we are driving from Ft Lauderdale to Naples earlier today when I took a break (too much dinner yesterday) and let my wife drive. Instead of dozing off as I expected, I turned on the Android thing. Your 3 respective postings came up and truly sweetened my mood. Thanks, Satie, OG42 and Mark!

The pix is of last evening's Thanksgiving dinner dessert. I could not have much, just a small spoonful of each (T2 diabetes was diagnosed at time of my cardio incident around a year ago).

At the left top is a cheesecake, made by the son of one my friends. A major surprise, never tasted a better cheesecake! At center is my wife's flan; a favorite of all our friends...I can no longer have much of it. Bottom right is a peach cobbler, made by another friend, which proved to be uncommonly delightful.

Take your pick or all and have it as sweet and delightful in your lives, and keep sharing with the rest of the gang.

OTOH, I am sure as hell NOT going to be the first one to post "Merry Christmas" this year! Like I said, I can't take too much of the sweets...not good for my heart. LOL! Again, really, tks.
