 I'm not interested in buying a pair as I have strong sentimental attachments to my Quads even if these are better.

But is anyone else checking these out?

 If anything were ever happen to my 989s, these would be a definite consideration. For sure.

 If you read the first paragraph of the 2009 announcement, it was to be available globally by April 2010.

Apparently, they're four years late with plans. :)

 These are the same speakers as Final, but with a better coating that does not break down over the years.
