I've got a pair of Tympani I-D that need a LOT of TLC right now. Both have damaged mid/bass panels. One was damaged when the police entered my house by pushing an air conditioner in through the window because they thought my front door was booby-trapped. Cops' first comment after going through my stuff - "You have PATENTS?!?!?" Yes, Virginia, computer programmers can like guns and Harleys. The other apparently just died of neglect while in storage for 3 years. One mid/bass sock is missing, and the L-bracket feet are missing. Does Magnepan still do a reasonably priced refurb on these if you ship them to White Bear Lake? I have the boxes. |

Two years ago they had stopped doing tympani 1s. Maybe they have started again. |
