Another Tuesday looking after Ruby has passed, our third time.

Last week she was teething, had a bright red and very sore bum, was fractious and teary. Still a good day, because in between she was fine.

Yesterday we took her to the local playground with swings rocking horse, round-a-bout and slippery slide.

Enjoyed the water-bird pond on the way back, too. Wanted to get in the water with the ducks.

Back home, she began to figure out how to propel herself around on the blown-plastic ride-on trike we bought her. Had her midday sleep without protest.

Lots of story-books read, too. Mostly by Grandma (Trisha) as I am still radio-active.

A great day.

Warmest

Nice story. Reminds me of days, when my sons were young.

Grand children are such a gift. You are building memories (for her AND for you) that will last a lifetime. Later in life, Ruby will look back and fondly remember days spent with you and your wife.

I cherish the time I have with my grandsons (5 and 7), and hope I can give them the kind of memories that I have of my grandparents.
