I don't want to buy anything either 'awesome' or 'rare'. I want electronics that were so good, they made enough of them so that they are not 'rare'.

However, I'll give a pass on this. I wonder what he expects to be offered? It looks exactly 'rare'.

I own several items of audio excellence I will never part with until they pry the bits out of my cold, dead hands.
And if they go up for sale.. They will sell in a day. Not sit as a listing for a month.

So it is clear to me, that the good stuff IS really "rare to find for sale, used".

The rare items I own I lucked into finding them for sale used. And many of them I have only seen maybe one other ad in many years.. And I look a lot at used ads.

Plenty of smaller companies make only a few hundred or thousand of a model. They are for sale new for only a few years. Then the only way to find them is used ads..
