Hi Mikey:

Good to see you on the forum. This will be great support for your products.

I have an old pair of RIT 5 experimental interstage transformers. They are standard air gapped design. I was going to use them with ECC99 tubes, 150V, 18ma. Will this present any problems?

Hi Jon,

I've been running 2 pairs of RIT-5s for several years, one at 250v and 18 mils, the other at 165v and 20 mils. Never a moments problem and I love 'em ;-). BTW, try the 6n1p in parallel while you're at it. I liked more than the ECC99 FWIW.

And, I have somewhere in my arcives, Mikey's caution statment for this iron.
