One pair of EXO-050's full nickel with brass bell ends. These are broken in with full length leads. Soldered once. $750

One pair of TL-404 XL's. These were from Mikey's last run. From what he wrote, these are good for 5 watts. Solder lugs with 4 Ohm taps. These have 33% more lamination's and measure 1" wide vs 3/4" on my other pair of TL-404's. These are broken in. $600

As Mikey won't make either of these again, I am asking full retail price the last time they were sold. Plenty of photos on request. I'll put these up on ebay if they don't find a home here.

Since the Magnequest web site is gone and searching brings up dead links, it might be useful to remind us what the specs. are for these.

The TL-404 XL's are still for sale. I miss wrote they were good for 5 watts. From what I can find it's either a conservative 3.6 or 4 watts from a forum search. Here are a few of the primary notes from Mikey about the TL-404 in general. These autoformers do have the 4 Ohm taps:

"In a nutshell--- it is a small signal autoformer with a nominal "primary" impedance of 5K and nominal secondary impedances of approx 500\600 down to four ohms. It has often been used as a linestage outut trans and also an earphone output transformer. It is parafeed only and you must use blocking cap in front of transformer (i.e., in btwn plate of tube and input on pri side).

The nominal winding resistance of the "primary" is 88 ohms. It's nominal reflected AC impedance is 5000 ohms.
The nominal secondary (load) impedances are 4, 10, 50, 200, 500 ohms.
These load impedances may be varied plus or minus 25%.
Frequency response +/- 1dB from 20 hz to 100 khz as shown in graph below.
The MOL at 25 Hz is 100vrms across full "primary"
The MOL at 30 Hz is 125vrms across full "primary"
Bandwidth from 20 hz to > 100Khz (+/- 1db) as tested by an end user in Italy

#1 black ground
#3 orange 4 ohms
#4 yellow 10 ohms
#5 white 50 ohms
#6 green 200 ohms
#7 red 500 ohms
#8 blue 5000 ohms (goes to plate of tube) "
