 The RAKK dac Mark IV, like most other DACs, uses an OEM board to provide USB attachment. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the OEM board manufacturer to provide up-to-date drivers for the board. Support for Windows and Linux has not been a problem but, as our MAC users know, Mavericks support has been a thorn in our side for many months. Now, our USB board supplier, M2Tech, has released a driver for Mavericks which is available in the link below.

I know that some of you have installed the driver and are happy with the results and I also know that some of you have not been able to get successful results. Unfortunately, I do not own a MAC nor am I competent in the area of MAC music players. Therefore I would like to open a dialog on the subject and invite MAC users to support each other in achieving success.

 Thanks for starting this Dave. I installed the new driver last week on my 2011 Macbook Pro without any issues. I use Audirvana Plus and am very happy with everything so far. I was thrilled to see both Direct and Integer modes working after installing the new driver. I am still playing with the A+ settings but this DAC just sounds incredible. I have a 2012 Mac Mini that I am considering turning into a music server so I won't have the driver issues in the future but so far so good with this one ;)
