Greetings all.

I'm successfully using a Raspberry Pi as a UPnP/DLNA audio renderer, as per this config.

http://blog.scphillips.com/2013/07/playing-music-on-a-raspberry-pi-using-upnp-and-dlna-revisited/

It works very well, easy to set up and reliable in operation. I've successfully streamed FLAC files of various resolution, upto 24bit 192KHz.

The Raspberry Pi Type B has PCB pads for an I2S output header; just wondering if anyone has experimented with connecting this either directly to a RAKK DAC board or to a RAKK 12S send module?

Thanks

Ray

I did and it partially worked with a k & k Audio I2S send module for Juli@. The hifiberry driver works with 24 bit files and the PCM1794 driver works with 16 bit files.
